
Fish fry is special non veg dish popular through out India which can be served with white rice , ghee rice .
Ingredients
- Rohi/Bhakura (Rohu/Catla) – 1 KG
- Turmeric Powder – 1 Tbsp
- Salt – 1 Tbsp
- Cumin Seeds- 1 Tbsp
- Ginger- 20 Gms
- Garlic 40 cloves
- Dry Chilly – 8 Nos.
- Mustard Oil – 200 ml
Procedure:
- Cut the fish into thin and round slices after removing the scales.
- Wash the cut pieces
- To marinate add turmeric powder and salt to the cut pieces, mix it well and leave it for 15 mins.
- Grind the cumin seeds, zinger, garlic, red chillies in to a fine paste.
- Add the paste into the marinated fish pieces and mix well
- Put the frying pan on the gas stove with medium flame till its hot
- Sprinkle oil on the frying pan (200 ml oil should be used for 1 KG)
- Let the oil become hot
- Fry the fish pieces till its little red on the frying side and then fry the other side
- After its properly fried (golden red color on both sides) transfer the pieces to the plate
- Serve hot
