Fish Fry

Fish fry is special non veg dish popular through out India which can be served with white rice , ghee rice .

        Ingredients 

  • Rohi/Bhakura (Rohu/Catla) – 1 KG
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 Tbsp
  • Salt – 1 Tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds- 1 Tbsp
  • Ginger- 20 Gms
  • Garlic 40 cloves
  • Dry Chilly – 8 Nos.
  • Mustard Oil – 200 ml

    Procedure:

  • Cut the fish into thin and round slices after removing the scales.
  • Wash the cut pieces
  • To marinate add turmeric powder and salt to the cut pieces, mix it well and leave it for 15 mins.
  • Grind the cumin seeds, zinger, garlic, red chillies in to a fine paste.
  • Add the paste into the marinated fish pieces and mix well
  • Put the frying pan on the gas stove with medium flame till its hot
  • Sprinkle oil on the frying pan (200 ml oil should be used for 1 KG)
  • Let the oil become hot
  • Fry the fish pieces till its little red on the frying side and then fry the other side
  • After its properly fried (golden red color on both sides) transfer the pieces to the plate
  • Serve hot
