Bali is our first international trip after marriage . we boarded the flight from Changi international airport headed towards Indonesia , Bali.
Bali History
Bali is a province of Indonesia which is located between the islands of Java and Lombok island, Bali island is also commonly referred to as The Island Of Thousands Temples, The Island of Gods, and Bali Dwipa, Bali also has several small islands are also included in the province of Bali, including the island of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan Island, Nusa Ceningan island, Serangan Island and MenjanganIsland.

Art Boutique
Handmade art boutique which is in Ubud bali varieties of craft readymade made up hand we came across during our stay.
Bali’s clans of gold and silversmiths have been creating intricate objects for temple heirlooms, rituals and fine jewellery for centuries. Their designs continuously evolve, as do the handed-down crafting techniques. The island’s gold and silver communities are mostly located in the villages of the Gianyar regency, particularly Celuk, Mas and Ubud. Some have showrooms alongside workshops that welcome you to observe the creation process, and some go further by handing you the silver beads, tweezers and wireworks to learn from the local artists in creating your own piece to take home.

Silver Factory
During our stay we visited the Mengwi temple which the is a landmark in the village of Mengwi, Badung regency, located 17km northwest of Denpasar.
The temple was built circa 1634 by the then ruler of the Mengwi kingdom, Tjokerda Sakti Blambangan, with Chinese architectural inspirations, and underwent a significant restoration project in 1937.
(Mengwi Temple)
The Taman Ayun Temple was to serve as a main site of worship among the Mengwi people who need not travel too far to the main large temples, the likes of the Besakih ‘mother temple’ in Karangasem, Batukaru Temple in Tabanan, or Batur Temple in Kintamani. It also served as a unifying symbol among the Mengwi royalty and the people.
Coffe Varieties
On part of a day trip around the surrounding area in Ubud, the main stop for me was the coffee & spice gardens.

Mount Batur Lake
The last stop before heading back to the centre of Ubud was this beautiful view of Mount Batur and the natural lake below it. Although I tried to capture the beauty in my images, it will never beat the view in front of your eyes. This spot was simply a little dust patch at the side of the road.
Nusa Dua Beach
Nusa Dua is Bali’s ‘all-inclusive’ type of beach resort. It has an incredible collection of world-class, international-chain hotels facing a pristine beachfront.
Tanah Lot Sunset
Bali is filled with incredible things to see and do and Tanah Lot is one of them. Sunset is one of the most popular times to visit this temple but is it the best time to visit? Tanah Lot is home to not only pretty scenery but a special temple too. There are so many incredible temples in Bali it would be impossible to pick a favourite, but Tanah Lot was definitely worth a visit.
Kecak Dance
The Kecak dance is unique in that it has no other musical background or accompaniment besides the chanting of male dancers, intoning a “keh-chack” polyrhythmic choir during most of the performance. Kecak’s storyline is taken from the Ramayana Hindu epic and it’s often on the entertainment schedule of almost every Balinese arts and culture venue.
Bali was an amazing experience and memorable tour for us.
