Starting  my travel journey from our ring anniversary trip it’s not other than the QUEEN OF HIll STATION OOTY ,through its  the summer season suddenly plan for it .Took bus from Banglore and reached to the OOTY. Booked the land package through  travel triangle. It Was a summer season the climate was not bad it was hanging between 28-30C.

So our first sight visit in OOTY was Dolphin’s Nose.

Dolphin’s Nose, Ooty Overview

This is a unique natural site where a protruding rock looks like a dolphin’s nose! Climbing up to the spot might require some effort, but it is totally worth it! From this point, one can catch the breathtaking view of the Catherine falls hundreds of meters below and also of the Coonoor stream meeting the Kotogiri stream.

Tea Garden

This is my second visit to this tea factory. Going through the tea museum by paying entrance fee is a must here. I wanted to visit this place only to buy essential oils. You get all types of essential oils like Eucalyptus, Tea tree, lavender etc. The oil available here is very good. For tea lovers, you get variety of tea like cardamom tea, white tea, green tea, strong tea.

Lamb’s Rock

The Lamb’s rock is one of the highest points in Conoor. The view from top most point is very beautiful. You can also see the toy train going from this point. But the most beautiful part of the Lamb’s rock is how well maintained this place is. 

There is so much of greenery, trees and well paved road that you fall in love with this place. Its much better than Dolphin’s nose and is a must visit destination.

The Lamb’s rock view point is has a unique view of some of the other hills as well as planes. If one hires a guide then you will be able to spot some famous points where like Sajan movie shooting point and other views like sleeping lady which only a guide can show you. A must watch point although the road is pretty narrow till the point and one can encounter traffic jams during peak season.

This is our first travel to ooty after marriage a best place to visit if you very much fond of hill station and nature’s beauty which will relax you from your day to day activities.

Ooty is a nice place to enjoy for honeymoon couples.
