it’s only my second day in Japan, and I’m already having an unforgettable time! Thanks to the 3-day Japan Rail Pass that Nayan got, we’ve been traveling around using the famous bullet train, or Shinkansen, which is super fast and super cool!
Bullet Train to Nikko
On our first day, we took the bullet train from Tokyo to Nikko, a beautiful place known for its World Heritage Center. The train was so fast that it felt like we were flying, and I was totally amazed by how smooth and quiet it was! Nikko was absolutely stunning – with temples, shrines, and nature all around us.
First Snow in Japan at Gala Mountain
But the most exciting part of my day was seeing my first snow in Japan! We went up to Gala Mountain, and I was beyond excited to see everything covered in pure white snow. It looked like a scene straight out of a postcard!

Skiing and Gondola Ride
At Gala Mountain, I had the chance to try out skiing for the first time. It was so much fun, and there were slopes for all levels – even beginners like me! Plus, we took a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. It was like floating in the air, with amazing views of the snow-covered landscape all around us.
Overall, this day was full of excitement and new experiences. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
